Our English – Creole & Creole – English dictionary has been designed with the goal to provide a better tool to learn and / or improve your skills in Haitian Creole.

The dictionary has 428 pages with the following specifications; what makes this dictionary to be unique, useful not only for beginners but also for advanced students or those who are already speaking the language.

First we have the Word in Creole, next to it you’ll see the English Translation and in the next column you’ll find the richest part of our dictionary; the explanations on the different use of a single Word in Haitian Creole, thus you’ll be able to fully understand how to use a Word in Creole; it will give you a great advantage so you’d be able to learn or improve your learning skills just like if you were living or hanging with natives.

In the second part of the dictionary you’ll find the Word in English, the Translation of that Word in Creole and right next to it, you’ll find the explanation box in plain Creole.

There are 49,794 words in the dictionary, 1,608  words have been thoroughly translated; we would also like to remark that we have not tried to create a full dictionary, moreover we’ve tried to create an unique tool, where you’d be able to search most common words in any type of fields with its different uses.
